The term ‘Drop shipping’ has become a popular method for selling goods on eBay. This method allows the seller on eBay to sell goods without the need to have an inventory or the necessity to ship the goods. Many companies also allow the user to purchase their goods and then have them blind drop ship the product to the winning bidder. The company uses the eBay seller’s name or company details as the return address to make it appear that the item actually came from them and not the true goods supplier. The true supplier will however, handle the packaging, the shipping, and any return of items. It is very easy to start a drop shipping business on eBay. But wait – do you want to create a website for new members from the web? I found a new barbershop singer through my website. 2. You may have a small business selling locally. You’re happy with yellow pages. But wait – how many thousand words can you put in your yellow page advert? There is no limit if you create a website. Have you ever had someone keep you on the phone for half an hour of your valuable time with their questions? Wouldn’t it be nice to direct them to your website for answers and sales messages? Create a website! Once you’ve written all those answers, wouldn’t it be profitable to have potential customers reading your answers? Create a website. A dentist has clients from a hundred miles away, from his website. 3. Perhaps you sell items weighing a hundred tons costing a million dollars. When you create a website you can still write as much information about your product as you like – not like the yellow pages. Then you can direct prospects to phone to make an appointment with your best sales staff. 4. You want to sell a product on the web. First create a website then get lots of traffic. 5. You want to make money on the web?!! without a product?!! No…I’m not laughing. Create a website. Here are some things not to do when you create a website. If your visitors hit the back button their numbers don’t count. 1. Don’t use frames when you create a website – the search engines can’t find you, and the inventors of frames don’t use them on their own website. 2. It may be artistic to disguise your links, but you will lose customers. I visited a site that displayed just one big picture. I happened to pass my mouse over the picture on the way to the back button, and discovered links flashing on the screen. Apparently I had to click on bits of the picture to see any more! 3. Don’t use Flash when you create a website. If people are using ADSL they are unlikely to wait longer than three seconds before hitting the back button. If they’re on a 56K modem they might be prepared to wait ten seconds. You’ve just lost another client. 4. Don’t use big pictures when you create a website. If you have a photography site, use postage stamp sized pictures with the size stated in your coding, and ask the visitor to click for a larger picture. Telling the browser how high and wide your picture is will allow it to load after the text, so your visitor has something to look at meantime. 5. Don’t use irrelevant pictures when you create a website. One picture is worth a thousand words, but only if the picture is saying what you want it to say. Why do people visit websites? It is NOT for entertainment. Their TV gives them all the moving pictures that they need. Even if it is an adult site, the visitor is really wanting to download digital information for later entertainment. Information is what your visitor wants – When you create a website don’t waste your time and money on anything else. A paid designer will use all sorts of clever artistic tricks – you now know that you will lose clients that way. More than 99% of new websites soon have to close because they have no traffic, which means no profit. That is your biggest mistake. Instead, find what people want to know first, then give it to them. So why create a website? Simple, you know more about your own subject than any show-off website designer. You don’t even need to understand HTML coding if you use SBI. There are currently 13 states that have legalized gambling and they have over 450 casinos between those states, and they bring in 72 billion dollars a year. From this money states get extra money for road repair, schools and many other things that a state needs money to fix and maintain. This can bring a major boost to a small starving economy separate from that of the casino. Another reason why many states are pushing to make gambling legal is to attempt to wipe out the illegal gambling business. Many people feel that if gambling is legalized there is no reason for people to go to sleazy and dangerous back room casinos. These type of places are becoming harder and harder for the police to find and as soon as they do find them, they will either pack up and change locations or another will just take their place. Another bad thing about illegal casinos s that there is no one monitoring to make sure the casino is not cheating their players. In many cases police have raided illegal casinos and found that all the table and card games are rigged for the casino to win, and if this is ever discovered the casinos operators have in the past committed murder to keep their secrets, and most people fear for their lives and refuse to cooperate with the police. Legalized gambling is monitored to make sure both the player and the house are playing an honest game. Do not let all of this make you think that gambling has no downside. A lot of this money has to go to treatment for people, who develop gambling addictions, and most cities with a casino do usually see a rise in crime in those areas, so more police officers are not just a luxury it is a necessity.

What happens when you order a domain name, secure a great value web hosting account to showcase your products and ask your web designer to set up your web site? RSS, Newsletter, Blog, Website…with so many places you can publish your web content to, how do you choose; especially when articles and time to publish them is limited. It probably won’t take more than a few minutes if you already have everything at hand. From now on, people can choose to subscribe to your newsletter by RSS or email and every time you publish the newsletter to your website or blog, RSS subscribers will see that you have new content and people who opt-in for email will receive an email notice. To top it all off, the content is also archived online permanently and all you did was type and publish one time. You know the amazing part is, that’s not all. You can syndicate your newsletter for more exposure. Contact a few webmasters and ask them if they’d like free, automatically updating content on their websites. Create the codes for them so it’s super easy for them to add you. When they do, the next time you publish your newsletter, their website gets updated immediately. If anyone wants to read more of your content, they would be brought to your site. RSS is truly an exciting technology. Not only does it open many doors for you to share your content, it can also help you work smarter by cutting down your work as you read above. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t have an RSS feed today and if you already have one, it’s time you should milk your RSS feed for all it’s worth. *Note: Not all mailing list managers can take your RSS feed and convert it into email updates.

Internet home business beginners are usually undecisive over what products to start selling when they start a web business. Here are some information that might be of help. There are basically three broad categories of product types: 1) Own product Many successful Internet marketers have at least one product they call their own. This is one of the fastest way to get your name out on the web. Having your own product gives you full control over pricing, design, joint venture deals and bonus materials. If you do decide on creating and selling your own product, your next step would be to choose between portable electronic version or physical version. Most marketers woud prefer the former because there’s no inventory costs. But the most important element is, electronic products like ebooks or MP3s allow for immediate delivery. And this appeals to buyers because they get access to the products instantaneously, satisfying their desire for instant gratification. One advantage of having your own product means recuiting others (affiliates) to sell for you. You pay them commission only when sales are made. You get tons of targeted visitors but don’t spend a cent on advertising. However, to recruit good affiliates, even super affiliates, you need to have a set of promotional materials ready for them to use. Don’t invite them to sign up your affiliate program and leave them to fend for themselves. Of course the product itself must be of high quality or you’ll see refund requests faster than you can sell. Your reputation gets ruined, your affiliates dump you and it’s going to be difficult to regain customers’ trust. 2) Affiliate Products Like I mentioned above, an affiliate promotes someone else’s products and get paid commission when sales are made. Many Internet marketing beginners will start with this type of selling as it is low costs and some of the pay outs are pretty generous. But how do you choose which merchant’s products to sell? Many people will look at the rate of commission payout by the merchants to decide WHICH products to sell, but be careful, it may just backfire. First, always think from the customer’s point of view. Take a good look at the merchant company’s website, does it make you want to buy if you were the customer? Does it have compelling copy to make you click on that “order” button? If the mechant does a lousy job convincing potential buyers, then it won’t matter even if they pay out 90% commission to you. Remember, you have done the work and send visitors to the merchants, all your effort and time are wasted if they fail to convert. So look for merchants who are helpful and have great sales materials you can use like banners and sales messages. Successful affiliates are usually those who are promoting good merchant products, even with low commission rates. These products come with what is called Resell Rights. There are “Master Resell Rights” and “Resell Rights”. Master Resell Rights give you the full right to either sell or give the product away. You can even pass along the resell rights to your customers. Resell Rights on the other hand, just gives you the right to sell the product, you may or may not give it away and you cannot transfer the rights to your customers. Meaning your customers cannot sell the product like you can. While this article is not exhaustive, it is hopeful that the information above can help you make a decision on what to sell as a start and then move on from there. Usually Internet marketing beginners will start with affiliate marketing because it costs the least and you have no inventory or customer service to worrry about. Recently in the news across the USA there have been several reports of parents leaving their children locked in their cars, while the parents sit in a casino and gamble. A great way to stop this from happening would be to legalize online gambling so that parents that can not afford a baby sitter will not do something as stupid as locking a small child in a car alone for several hours. Another solution would be for the casino industry to take responsibility of the people they lure in with promises of riches beyond belief. If the casinos all offered 24 hour free daycare for all casino players those parents who are so far gone in their addiction will not have to make the decision of what to do with their children, they can just take them to the casino and let them be watched after in the casinos daycare centers. As well as making sure children are not being neglected by their parents or legal guardians, the children in their care can be checked for signs of abuse and any parent that brings a child regularly to the casino can be talked to about gambling addiction. Please do not get me wrong I feel the parents should be the ones taking responsibility for their kids, but gambling addiction is a disease, and at least this would provide a way for the government to monitor parents gambling habits, and to provide them with help if they need it. Besides being the right move for the casinos to make for its own civic duty, it also makes good business sense. If the casinos offer such a service they also open themselves up to single parents that could use a little time for some adult fun, and by making the day care 24 hours a day there is no reason why a parent would leave their kid at home instead of at the casinos free daycare. The parents could relax and have a little fun with the knowledge that their kids are being taken good care of. This is not a new concept there are several casinos in Las Vegas that offer day care. These centers offer children of different ages fun things to do, such as all the popular videos, and games fro kids. This will appeal to people with kids. The parents get to gamble and have some adult fun and the kids get to do fun kid stuff. By doing this the casinos will get more business and they are doing the responsible thing for their customers with gambling problems. I understand that the casinos are a business, but they should make sure that some of their less responsible gamblers do not put their children’s lives in danger just to make an extra few dollars in a multi billion dollar a year industry If enough people recommend this to their local casinos and state officials, casinos could be required by law to provide child care when they are open.
